When you think of joint replacement, knees, hips and shoulders probably come to mind. But there’s also joint replacement for the elbow. Like with the other joints, elbow replacement can be done for osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis. It’s even more commonly performed for certain types of fracture of the upper arm bone (humerus).
