Artificial intelligence (AI) seems to be affecting many aspects of our lives, from self-driving cars to smart phones to social media to ChatGPT and so much more. Medical care is no different. According to Thomas Mroz, MD, Chair of Enterprise Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, “AI is going to transform our ability to predict who is going to get arthritis, and this will allow us to have more patient-specific treatments so we can prevent or slow the generation of disease.”
