Three Pool Moves to Keep Hips Healthy

Every time you take a step, you place from three to seven times your body weight on the bones and muscles of your hip joints. When you perform such motions in a swimming pool, however, the buoyancy of the water lifts the pressure from those joints while still allowing you to exercise the glutei, abductors, quadriceps, and other hip-related muscles.
