Millions of Americans engage in sports, and age is no barrier. There are over 9 million golfers ages 55 and older in the United States, accounting for one-third of all golfers. Close to 2 million people in this age group play tennis, which is 10% of all amateur tennis players. And pickleball, perhaps the fastest growing sport, especially among middle- and older-age adults, is played by more than 3 million people.
