The pills that ease your pain may be a blessing for your joints but a curse for your stomach.Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) and naproxen (Aleve, Naprosyn), can irritate and potentially damage your gastrointestinal (GI) tract.
